1 Attachment(s)
All i know is the size...and that its a 12 speed with suntour components. Is there any way to tell the model/year/what kind of frame. The seller is out of town at the moment. Thanks for any help. i dont know much about shogun so any help or tips at all would be nice :)

Hello. I realize that is the sellers pic but it is an awful one for determining age and model. if it is not sold yet see if the seller can get you a few better pics from the dirve side (right). and tell you what type of components are on it. looking at the brakelevers (which I suspect had "safetylevers" once and the plastic cable clamps (zip ties?) on the toptube it looks like a lower end model

I got it. I really like it but still dont know the model. Shimano 600 front der and brakes. Suntour shifters and rear der. Is there a place where a serial number would be? also man...when i installed the computer...there was only 1-2mm clearance no matter where i placed the tracker on the spoke or the set piece on the fork. I did a test ride and it seemed fine. But is this a problem???...and has anyone else has such a tight squeeze?
also if i would put the tracker on the outer spoke...im guessing it would be too far away...much more than the 5 mm it is supposed to need. |
1-2 mm clearance between the magnet and the fork leg, or between the magnet and the sensor? If it`s the sensor, you should be fine. If it`s the fork leg, try rotating the sensor pickup around towards the front or back of the leg, rather than on the inside. Maybe that`ll give you enough room.

I have the magnet on the inside of the inside spoke and the sensor on the inside fork. There is 1-2 mm clearance between the magnet and the sensor..so looks like i should be ok. Thanks for the suggestion about putting the sensor more on the front of the fork...if i have problems i will try that.
