Shimano timeline
Somewhere there is a sight, in German, that has the complete Shimano component timeline. If anyone can link me to it I would appreciate it. I"ve tried to Google it and search here but no luck. First Flight bike doesn't cover Deore LX and so is totally useless to me. Thanks

Deore LX first appeared in 1990 and runs to this day. If you're trying to date a specific version, your best bet is the date codes on the back of the rear parallelogram arm. If you're trying to establish a era for a specific version, I may be able to help. I have a a good selection of the catalogs from this era. Just provide the model number and/or a good pic.
