Looking for a fork, PLEASE HELP

Hey, just purchased a 61cm 1996 Cinelli Super Corsa road frame, though it is without the fork.
What I need is a 1" Threaded or Threadless fork with a long steertube.
It needs to be at least a 230mm steer or longer. Will be used with a Campy Record HS.
Perferably looking for something chrome and as similar as possible to the original fork.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks:love::eek::innocent::crash::thumb:

Yellowjersy.org has some straight blade chrome forks for 99 bucks.

Have you contacted Cinelli? I think they still make that frame, so they would probably be able to supply the fork you need.

Go with carbon.

+1 on carbon fork. Nashbar carries a 1" carbon fork for under $150.

Your best bet for an all-chrome, steel, lugged 700C fork is from Soma. You're lucky - their largest size is 230mm. More importantly, the threads are only 50mm long, not 100, so you won't end up wrecking the fork the minute you put a stem into it.

They're expensive ($149 for chrome finish), but most suitable for a Cinelli SC.

On my '83 Guerciotti:

Workmanship on these forks is excellent, considering they're generic replacements.

P.S.: Don't mind the carbon folk - I dare say they didn't bother to read your entire post.
