1939 Monark Airman?? (Spiegel)

I need help identifying a bike I just acquired, any help would be greatly appreciated I think I have it nailed but want 2nd opinions. I am aware a great injustice has already been preformed on this bike but I believe I am about to make it right and give it back some dignity :-) but first I need to know what it is. Thanks

***Update, the more I research it the less I am convinced of what it is, so many bikes look like this but it matches in the back so much like the picture in the catalog ugh I hope someone knows looks a lot like western flyer too tires say that but i first figured they werent original tires. or fleetwing?

heres the link i found and much of the bike match up, rear rack-chainring,frame, probably seat, not sure on fenders yet.

Here's one that I had. Similar looking profile and the place where the kickstand goes is kinda the same.
The fenders and chainguard look like generic replacements to me but what do I know about old bikes.
If it were prewar, I'd expect to see a skiptooth chain.
Try over at www.thecabe.com or www.ratrodbikes.com. They get into this ballooner stuff more than we do.

It was early to mid fifties. I don't recall exactly. The leather saddle came off of a Raleigh.

either way still my oldest find to date, ill go with 50's monark unless someone sheds new light on the subject for me. I'll be stripping it down to the bare metal soon and maybe ill find something under all that spraypaint.
