"This old bloke lives down the road from me, and said to me the other day, "You fix up old bikes, don'tcha, son?" Well, to cut a long story short, he gave me a Raleigh Medale. (Whatever the heck that is!) It's a 10-speed, in a metallic reddish pink, with a Suntour stem and shifters, a Suntour RD, and a horrible pressed steel twin crankset, steel wheels... Absolut rubbish! It weighs a ton, but the frame looks awesome, so I'm gonna fix her up a bit. I'm going to need some parts though - Campy or Shimano? - Alloy wheels, etc. I can't give y'all a "before" pic, because I already started working. Would you like an "after" pic, or progress pics? BTW, I know nothing about this bike, so anyone that knows anything about it, I sure would apprecieate a heads up! Thanks-- Ned

Its pretty cool when you get a little neighborhood recognition and are gifted bikes for it. Just happened to me for the first time recently, definitely a cool feeling.
