My latest ride - 1985 Marinoni Special
Here's my latest ride that will be displacing my much loved Bianchi:

NICE !! Fine example of early '80s

After checking with Cycles Marinoni, apparently the colour of this bike was originally metallic pink and it was equipped with Campagnolo Victory components.
It appears to have been back for a repaint and had many components upgraded to Record and Nuovo Record. I have to say after riding with a Suntour Cyclone MK-II drivetrain I'm not exactly overwhelmed with these Campy bits. Shifting certainly seems less precise, requiring a little overshifting and then trimming back to get it to run quietly. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but the thought of moving the Suntour components over to the Marinoni has crossed my mind. |
