ID these campy brakes

Does anyone recognize what any of these Campy parts are? They are on an eighty-something Medici that I recently picked up (They obviously aren't pristine, but the camera makes them look worse than they actually are). Thanks!

I'm not seeing any pictures, but I'd like to help you out.

I think they're mid-80's campagnolo Victory brakes. Check out Velobase here.

Edit: Actually, I may be mistaken - probably Super Record.

cyclotoine 10-11-09 11:42 AM

Worth mentioning the brakes could be considered super record since they were c.1984/5-1987 delivered with super record and nuovo record was dropped by that time. Also the "acorn" nut on the caliper is incorrect, as in a replacement.

if I can add my two cents since the Campagnolo is filled in or Pantagraphed in blue might these be Cobalto brakes sans the gems?

Record brakes of that era are Cabalto brakes except for the nut with the blue stone. The beginning of the end : (

The picture may be fooling me, but the Record brake with script "Campagnolo" usually has a triangular cross section through the arm; these look to be the older D-shaped cross-section (keeping the acorn nut, as well).

or is it just me?

they look the same to me except for the caps
