Schwinn Voyageur Refinishing.
I have a 1980 Schwinn Voyageur 11.8, mechanically, it's perfect (I replaced almost everything on it), but the paint, It's pretty bad. I believe it lived outside for a couple years, it has a couple small patches of rust, and the decals look like crap. I don't care if it looks original, I don't even want any decals on it after the repaint. So what do I do, take it to an auto body shop, powder coat it, or paint it myself?
I would like to get it painted a solid color, no decals, no chrome, what would be a reasonable price for powder coat, or getting it painted? Which is better? What do you recommend?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Powder coat will typically last longer then a "wet paint" regardless of who sprays it...Powder usually costs somewhere between $50 and $150. Sometimes more. Wet paint can be twice that much $ or more if professionally done.
My 2 cents.

Another vote for powder. Here's how it's done:

Yep, great video. I would have picked the color on the left, it looked closer to what was showing of the original color. Otherwise, the bike looked great after.,,,,BD
