Gumwall tires

Found these at an LBS today:

I have been using the black walled ones in 27x1, 1-1/8, and 1-1/4, as well as 700C for years with decent results (wire bead). This 27x1-1/8 pair is the only ones I saw, but they were not there 2 months ago. The guy did not know when they came it, or if they could get more. Any Trek/Fisher dealer should have access to them though if you are looking for something a bit better than the std. $12-$15 Cheng Shen.

I am in the market for some durable 27x1/18 tires due to issues fitting my fenders over my 27x11/4 schwalbe marathons. How do these tires compare to Pasaela tourguards?

I have only used the blackwall version of the Botrangers before and found them to be quite robust (I think the rear one dies at over 2000 miles, but I lost count. Odd, but I have not had a flat with these (I am sure it is coincedence), but they do have a kevlar belt.

I have less than 1000 miles on my only set of Pasela TG's, so I really cannot adequately compare them.
