I have nothing to add about the brand, but that is a nice looking bike and you can't go wrong with 531 and Campagnolo.

Bumping this back up for you. 531sl tubing with a Zeus crank and Campy SR rear derailleur. Some of the other components are later change-outs, but someone must know something.

Thanks for some of the info on the whitebear brand. I emailed Ronnie Anderson who was a factory rider for white bear Bmx in the 80s and he gave me some more info and the name of the owner of the company. I have contacted him also awaiting his reply. Below is the email from Ronnie Anderson . Will update

Hey Justin whats up, I hear you bought a white bear road bike cool we started that company Lonnie Means "biker/Harley guy"a guy named Bear and I. Bear built the first bikes in Merced shop in Cali "Nor Cal" Richie and I road and won for white bear during their Just Say No campaign. For about a year I hooked that guy up clean fun...

Sincerely,
Ronnie Anderson

Yeah, that looks like a really well made frame. The seat cluster looks very nice. I am pretty sure the lugs are prugnats, probably a long point version.

My first bike was a little 20" that had the logo of a Polar bear sitting on an iceberg. This was in 1962. Could that have been a White Bear bike?
