Time T-1700 bicycle?

I know of a vintage bike for sale that is local to me advertised as a Time T-1700.

I know of French brand Time bicycles, but I am finding that to try and research that brand name on line is hard.

Anyone on here have info on a steel framed Time brand bike with the model number T-1700?

Here are the only pics I have of the bike in question.

I never did find out anything about the bike. And, the CL seller of the bike in question never responded to my email.

I just spoke to the person who designed the TIME logo for Fuji. The TIME was a second tier brand built by Fuji for the American market. He's also the same person who designed the FUJI logo back in the in the late '70's.

So time was a lower level Fuji. Well, I'm glad I didn't miss out on something really special. Thanks for the update.

Knowing Fuji, lower level or second tier was probably a relative term. I'd love to find one and check out the quality and ride. I'm trying to track down some catalog specs ...

I own a T-1700

I would be willing to sell if someone wants to buy a T-1700.

I thought Time bicycles was associated with the French pedal maker of the same name. Never knew that it was a sort of Fuji subsidiary.

As an owner of a "LOOK" bike, I sympathize with your attempts to research "TIME" bikes on the web.

Is this Time worth it to bring up to date and ride or just sell and upgrade?

Since so little is known about this Fuji line, it's hard to say. I'd say clean it, tune it, put a few dollars into and give it a go. Then give us a ride report ..
