Bernard Dangre Frame
I have a Bernard Dangre frame which I believe is from the 70's. It's all French threaded, marked as "Made in France" and additionally decals ID it as a triathlon bike. It is NOT in anyway marked or identified with Paris Sport of NJ or Dangre-Starnord of France. I am planning on building it up and riding it but undecided whether to repaint and decal it as original, repaint it to my own pleasing, or just build on it as it is. I was told it had all French components on it originally and it's Vitus 888 straight tubing. Does anyone know anything about this frame. Does it have any historical or collectible value as is? I don't think I can build it up as original and I'll probably hang vintage French, some vintage Campy, some whatever upgrades on it to ride. Any comments? Any interest here and I'll put some pics up. Thanks.
