Show me your workshop.

I just finished putting my workshop to rights, and I wanted to share and compare. I got 90% of my tools on the pegboard, and have plenty of room to work, plenty of room for my wife to park, and I am organized for the first time in a while. Unfortunately I don't have any before pictures, but here is my rennovated workshop area.

My workshop is pretty good sized, but I probably have twenty five bikes in it right now, plus quite a few parts. No pictures, its too big of a mess...

Nice refrigerator placement
Right now it's half full if Lone Star Light and a brisket brining to be smoked on Sat. I find that bicycle repair often requires a can of beer to keep things lubricated.

I just tried to clean up my workarea too, but its still a complete mess and its still in the attic.

All the tools are scaterd around the office chair or in the red tool box. Parts are in boxes, wheels go in the room in the back, frames and bikes go on the room to the left.

The above photo was taken today, while this photo was taken in april.

What type of hook/brackets do you use to hang the bikes like that?
https://www.rubbermaid.com/Category/P...od_ID=RP091292

Home Depot, Lowes, Fred Meyer all has them.

Thanks. It's actually replaceable (via slots in the vertical and horizontal trim pieces), so, for instance, I can replace half of the pegboard with a whiteboard.

I mount my bench tools on "plates" which you can see the vise mounted on. I also have my truing stand, band saw, and drill press mounted on plates. These plates then attach to the workbench via threaded knobs.

This image doesn't show much, you can see some tools hanging on the left, and the edge of the work bench on the right...

If you can see that red, rubber coated hook on the left- that along with another hook make up the repair stand. It's an old car bike rack that is bolted onto a shelf. It works great.

I'll get some more pics showing the actual workspace.

Very nice shops here. I use the hooks you see above my workbench as a work stand; it's one of those bike hoists, and it works very well. I am looking for a real stand, but I have some other projects I must do for the wife before I am allowed to indulge in my workshop again.

The basement shop makes me jealous.

The house next door to me is going to be for sale very soon, and I am seriously thinking about buying it and using it for half workshop for me, half art studio for my wife. Throw down some linoleum, I'm good to go.

Mine's pretty tame compared to the rest, AND it all gets packed up and put away when I'm done
