Quick Q: Replacing Weinmann 610 with the new Dia Compe 750?

I have a mid-70's Raleigh with Weinmann 610/750 brakes that no amount of adjusting seems to fix. Will the switch to Dia Compe Mod 750 brakes work just fine? Or is it just better to stick with a set of vintage Weinmann brakes in better shape than mine? Thanks.

AFAIK, the DiaCompe was a licensed-by-Weinmann copy back when these were made, so closely copied that most parts are completely interchangeable. If the 750 is the correct reach you need, there should be no issues with 750 DCs.
