Old Find ID Help (pics)

I was wondering if I could get some help ID'ing this one. I found the double downtube intriguing. Any, here is what I can tell you. Rear hub is a SS Durex coaster with "Durex, 49 DRR, Frazision, Werke". The rear fender is drilled, possibly for a skirt guard. The chain guard appears to be Aluminum and reads "Hebie". Cottered cranks with interesting BB "cups". There is no headbadge, but a pair of rivets remain. The front wheel is a 24" replacement but it appears as if it may have been ridden in this configuration. There is a oil port on the BB shell.
Any help with the origin or possible age would be helpful. The lady I purchased it from said it was a ridden by a gent who rode it prior to being drafted during WWII. Anyhow, the frame seems solid and I am going to give a shot at getting it running.
thanks!

Upon closer inspection, the top tube may have been welded into place. Not a terrible job, but it is quite possibly electrical conduit. Still curious about the bike though...

+1 Top tube is a definite add on.

Thanks,
I will add that the rear "dropouts" face backwards ala track ends if that helps with dating and IDing this Frankenstein.
Thanks!

Maybe the hub is 1949. Velobase shows a hub from 1950s:

Hebie is a bike accessory company and is still in business today.

Exactly what size is the back tire?

elcraft 11-15-09 09:57 PM

Er, that would be "Prazision" not "Frazision". "Prazision" means "Precision" in German. And "Durex"; well maybe one of our UK contributors would like to explain that one.........

Too bad it doesn't have a headbadge. You might have luck by searching for fahrrad manufaktur [ bicycle manufacturers ]. It will be in German, but translations are online.
