Alternatives to a Brooks Professional

My Vintage bike has a Brooks Professional which fits well, is comfortable all-day and is right on this bike from 1972.

What alternative will provide the same fit and performance? Something lighter and less costly from Brooks or any-one else would be great.

+1. I got rid of my Brooks in favor of the Regal, and have never regretted it. Fantastic riding saddle, and nice looking to boot.

Velo Orange has a saddle that is like the B17, and one that is like the Swift. Not necessarily a Pro, but they're cheaper and from what I"ve heard are just as comfy as a Brooks...

Regal w/ Ti rails: http://cgi.ebay.com/SELLE-SAN-MARCO-...item5636c81616

Fizik clone: http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product...2_10000_201504

Both are wide at the back, providing for mulitple kiester positions. The nod for comfort, lightness, and cost goes to the clone, but the Regal's not far off.

Nice find. Half the price of the same saddle some other places. I bought one.
