Can one shove a 44-507 rim/tire combo on a Raleigh Twenty?

Title pretty much says all. I'm curious as to whether there is the slightest possibility that I could squeeze something larger then 451's under one.

Curious if anyone has tried it before - particularly as I don't have any 507's at hand.
