Any help ID this MTB frame?

I have mostly ridden as a roadie, so not that familiar with MTB. Recently got this bike from original owner's relative. Relative had no history on bike except that components changed over the years. Can anyone ID or give a good guess on the aluminum frameset?
From MTB forum I have been told that frame is likely mid to late 90's - prominent features are the gusset at the downtube-head and the true horst link.

Any help much appreciated

Rocky Mountain? no good reason, just what popped into my head when I saw it.
You see, their morals, their code...it's a bad joke, dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these...These "civilized" people...they'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve
