Well, after seeing all the beautiful restorations, I'm a bit embarassed to post my single speed conversion of this early 1970s Mercier Model 100 (Rally Sport). When I got it nearly four years ago, it was a total basket case with badly bent chainrings, unusable wheels and broken derailleurs. Initially, I simply replaced the wheels with an old set of 700c tubulars and fashioned a single freewheel from and old Suntour Winner body, some spacers and a cog. Recently, I decided to do a better job, and picked up a 27" wheelset with a rear flip flop track hub and a single speed freewheel. The tires are Panaracer Pasela TG 27 x 1-1/4 gumwalls that look much like the originals. The only non-original parts are the seatpost and saddle. The pedals are authentic NOS Lyotard Model 36F that are identical replacements for the originals that were badly damaged. Also, I added the Pletscher rack that is period correct.

Welcome, a decent trio. I like the flat bar one, lots of potential with the frame.

Currently (re)building the Trophée. Finally collected a very nice Dura Ace EX 7200 group. Will make an 'explosive-view' poster of the bike's components. To be continued.

Peugeot TH8 tandem. The seller said their in-laws brought it with them when they moved from England. Dated 1980. It doesn't have much wear, just a lot of years of dirt accumulation. Both derailleurs were broken, so I replaced them with a Sun Tour set that I had in the parts bin. I replaced the cables and trued the back wheel, so we could take it for a quick test ride.
