Anyone have any info on Novara Trionfo?

Here is a link to some photos...I was in a rush so not always the best shots.

I know its a Tange 1 frame with Tange fork. It has all Shimano 600 tri-color, all of which is moving to another bike. It has internal top-tube brake line routing, a Tange Levin headset, Nitto stem, and overall looks like it was a nice bike in its day.

I just looked back thorugh, and I didn't do a very good job photographing this bike. If I get a chance, I'll take a couple of more proper photos.

I know its an REI bike, but that is as much as I know. Thanks in advance!

Alex

I had one that looked identical but was made of Tange Infinity tubing. At the time, it was the top of the road lineup for Novara, which I believe is still REI's house brand. The 600 group is probably original since even the top end Novara bikes didn't get DA back then.

Any idea who made these bikes for REI?

Found this thread that dates the bike to 89-91, which comports with the 600 gruppo.

I have no idea who manufactured these bicycles but the serial number may provide a clue and help to narrow down the year.
