New Bike Day!
I picked up an 1984 Stumpjumper from the Craigslists this weekend. The guy was the original owner and included a photocopy of the original receipt!

Yes, the Orange is about a 74. It's crazy wicked. It's one of those amps that you *need* an attenuator for- it doesn't get cooking until it's ear-bleedingly loud. Once it's there- good Lord- you just don't find amps that sound like that.
The Marshall is a much more volume friendly amp. It sounds great at most any volume you run it at- and when you get that thing cooking- you get that "grunt." Not the same 'unleash the bowels' grunt of the Orange- but a wonderfully mean pull... Know what I mean?

With the toe clips, blue water bottle cage and something else I can't figure out for $30.08, the total price came out to $492.98. Base price on the bike was $449.95.

So here's a question- a little 'opinion' type thing...
The bike is in beautiful shape- but it also looks like it's seen some time of being left outside- the "Special Series" decals on the fork are faded, barely legible and the downtube decal is missing...
Do I get reproductions or just leave it?
