Bianchi volpe changes over the years?

i was wondering if anyone knows anything about how the volpe frame has changed over the years, for instance how does my 2002 differ from a 2010?

I have a 2006 and the frame looks identical to the 2009 versions. Has anyone figured out what steel they use? I think it's Bianchi mystery metal.

where are the pics? *giggle* I think gerv may be correct. I do not have a complete set of 2000 era catalogs ( I am always looking for them) but most seem to list the materiel as DB ChromeMoly, which is likely custome drawn for Bianchi. persoanlly I am just happy it is still a good basic steel frame. personally I would like to see more brazeons, 2 sets on the forkends and dropouts plus low rider bosses on the fork.

my recently aquired '86 Volpe not only is the first of this fabulous do all bike but, is also considered (by Bianchi) as the first 'Hybrid' bicycle. the lugged frame is Tange 900 DB ChromeMoly with a real fork crown. friction barends nothing fancy here just a basic do all bike. the first pic is the seller's, the others are mine
