Which Campy (as in Grupo) aero brake lever do I have here. I'm not up on my vintage Campy. Come on, help a brother out.

+1 Athena
I like mine, good stopping power, but the cables have a slight abrasive or gritty feel compared to the old teflon-lined cables I had with my old Dia-Compe levers.
Best Wishes!

OK, Athena or Record? I did some research and found out that the Record levers had the little spring rate adjuster thingies while the Athena did not. Looks like this one goes to Bianchigirll.

Not all Record brakelevers had the adjuster thingie (Powergrade). I agree with teambhultima that they are Athena levers.

Actually I think we may all be right. while looking through the few Campi catalogs I have, I only see this style lever listed as a Record part in the '99 spare parts catalog (like Campi actually offered spares LOL). this is not a real "power grade' style lever, just a different style. there is no adjustment screw like the early '90s 'power grade' levers.

going by the regular and parts Campi '99 catalog this lever is listed as part # BL-22RECG. it is listed as a part in the Record and Chorus group. however I am sure these were specced on some Athena equppped bikes that might have had DT shifters.

I checked the spare parts catalog from 1995. The parts diagrams for the Athena levers are different than the Record lever. See here: http://www.campagnolo.com/repository...spares95_C.pdf I believe tthat what I have are late model Record levers.

Unknown. These appear to be take-offs, and I don't know what they were taken off of.

I stand corrected - just went down and looked at my bike. The Athena levers don't have whatever the little gray thing is (Powergrade) sticking out by the hood. Otherwise, they look the same to me. Sorry for the oversight! (original post #2 writer must have noticed this, too, as that post is now gone)
Good work Bianchigirl!
Happy St. Valentine's Day!

thing sticking out of the hood? that is actually part of the body most all Campi aero levers have that (esp the models witht he QR built in) I should have put this right in my first post but I did not really notice it until I started lookign for the "thing sticking out" *blushing* a Power Grade lever has a vertical slot on the front of the lever and there is a +/- with arrows indicating which way to adjust the lever.

Mind if I revive-jack this thread? Here's another Campy lever - can anyone help ID it?

Looks about like a zenon 8 or 9 speed ergo lever to me. Power grade adjustment was first offered on Delta levers in 1989, btw. This is newer, and I'd guess that it is Chorus or Athena, based on black rubber and less than perfect finish.
