schwinn traveler questions?

i'd hate to ask a question that has been asked a million times but whatever. i used the search function/google and cant find anything

i got this


it has a exage components on it.

google results find similar bikes and it puts me at 93' model

any info? where was it made?

just curious.

It looks like a '91 Traveler. Since the catalog states "Full True-Temper Chrome-Moly Double-Butted Frame (Made in U.S.A.)" I'd have to guess it was made at the Greenville, MS Schwinn plant just before it closed.

These are great bikes. I got an '89 with the same True Temper DB frame and it is pretty impressive for the level. My '89 has the "Schwinn Chicago" headbadge, so I assume that it was Asian-made. The True Temper tubing is US made...

and 'made in the usa' which I think speaks just for the framing material, because the other 2 indicate that it is Asian made
