Help ID Early 70`s Fuji Track Bike What year is it**********

Hello, Can you help ID the year of this bike?? I bought from a man who has owned it since 1975 or 1976 , He said it was used when he purchased it and thinks it is a 1971 or 72 and raced it at the Trexeltown PA Velodrome . The ser. number on the bottom bracket is 75C5008 and the last digit looks like an L or a 2 . The paint is all original . I looked at all of the Fuji catlogs online from 1971 and up and can`t Id the frames year or model , looks nothing like the bikes in the catalogs. The frames says made in Japan , Double butted , The top tube says TF Sprint . Do you think TF sands for Team Fuji or ???? The chrome drop outs are stamped Shimano. The rear hub is a Campy Record, Fiamme Rims , The crank he said he replaced in 1976 , said the original was a Campy , he put it on his other bike. It now has a Sugino Mighty Competion Pista 165 crank. I am just missing the seat post and tires. The front fork is drilled for a brake, The rear bridge is not. I really like the front fork design . What brand of Lugs are these? Nervex?? What brand of tubing??? Best of all is it is a 52.5 cm and I can ride it. I have not even started cleaning it yet, I think it will look great when finished , the spots on the top bar is tape residue. Any Fuji guy with any info on this bike. Please help

The fork crown points to an early '70's, perhaps a '72. The only other Fuji that I know of that came with Shimano dropouts was the '70's Fuji Ace but even then not always. Nice frame.

Fuji's first year in the US was 1971. Try vintagefuji.com ? Looks pretty good.

Bikes: Was Fuji and got my grails (Pro, Pro SR, Design Series, & Ti). Now I hunt 50's and older road bikes.

my '76 fuji feather track bike has chromed shimano dropouts, a similar fork crown, but simpler lugs. It was apparently intended for sale in Japan only, I can find no reference to the feather model in the catalog archives. Perhaps yours was also.

I pulled the fork out and it is stamped 75 C , just like the first 3 digits in the serial number . So I am thinking it is a March 1975 build?? Maybe the original owners memory was a little off on the year he purchased the bike.

The Fuji consumer catalogs did not list their track bikes. Based on the serial number and the decals and the time of purchase this sounds like a 1975 Team Fuji Sprint (same frame as the professional -20 lbs as a full road bike, btw- but a track frame). Fuji was cryptic about the frame material those days and they just listed it as "double butted CrMo steel". This was probably sold just as a frameset, because I don't believe that there is a 0.0001% probability that a Fuji bike will leave the factory with Italian components in the mid 70s. The fork sound like a replacement

The fork is very similar to mine - same fork crown and round fork blades:
