Here are my Merckx bikes. The red/white one has been rendered somewhat redundant by the MXL, so I am considering selling it. Love them both. Just got some Continental Gatorskins for the MXL that I can't wait to try. [Sorry, couldn't figure out how to make the pics larger.]

Very nice Force!!! I love the red and white scheme. I think I would hold onto both of them.

I'm jealous of the MXL tubing on his!

I'm not even sure what the tubeset on mine is...I was told Reynolds 753, but based on the weight...I'm not so sure.

It is almost new. From what the owner told me the person who originaly bought it made 20 kilometers with it.
Then he got sick after his first ride and the bike was stored until now in a heated garage.
That begs a set of Shamals or Ventos with the fuscia decals...

I have the Shamals laying around here. But they go pretty well with this bike too, or not?

Waiting for good weather conditions to take a picture of them with the bike.

I've been off the forum for a long, long time. Had some major knee trouble unrelated to cycling and I got bitter about my bikes just hanging in the garage. Well, I'm back and will be back on my Paramount soon but acquired this just before I went off the bikes. I am soliciting ideas on how to build it up. I can use all the advice I can get.

Its a 2005 Merckx MXL Team Moto reissue. Its really sweet. I'd hold it next to the Panasonic Team America I need to finish up as the nicest bike I have.

Alex, did you buy that frame recently from a guy in California? I think I've seen that pictures before from the Serotta forum. If so, I almost bought that one. I've got the same bike (see a few posts previous). You've got to build it up with 8 speed Dura Ace!

I did buy it from the guy in CA and from the Serotta forums. Its a really beautiful frame. I think 8sp is the wrong spacing though, right?

So, anyone have an 8sp Dura Ace set-up they'd love to see on my Moto Merckx? I need the works, including stem, bars and wheels though I think I can find the stem and bars pretty simply.
