tange 1000, tell me about it
i know its nothing special, and on the lower end, but what can you tell me about it? several searches (here and google) said that id was straight gauge but the frame decal states double butted.
what is it comparable to?
is it the entire frame of just main tube?
how about the fork?

What does the label say? Is there a label on the fork? If it doesn't clearly say, and if the forks are not marked, I would bet the stays and forks are lower grade, likely high ten steel.
There are several posts on this forum with double butted Tange 1000 tubing. How are you searching?

i know ive seen of decals that say "main tubes" or "main triangle' but this one just says "tubes"
