Mondonico Bikes

I've been admiring them on line a little while idly pondering getting one. i just recently read, though, how involved Mondonico himself has been involved with many esteemed frame builders. for example, he was apparently very much involved in guercotti in it's early 80s heyday.

Anyone here own one? How are you enjoying it?

They tend to get very nice reviews. The only issue with my old was removing the back wheel. It would hit the seat tube.

+1 on what Jim says, mainly because I have his, the seat tube to rear tire clearance is very tight.

Light, nice frame; mine is SLX, and should ride like it. I'm simply waiting on a fork.

Mr. Mondonico must have been fairly proud of his work; his name is on the frame in 8 places.
