whats the best GT to get? MTB, BMX, other?
 

I want to start a GT collection. What do you guys think would be the best of for GT?
Of...

1. Each year. late 80s for sure.
2. Each class. BMX is my fav, although I own a triple, and a RTS.
3. Best Model. Im torn between the Mach One, and the Interceptor.
4. Stock or Mixed parts. I actually like them stock, but some would like upgrades.
5. Best Color Schemes. I like chrome, but have fun with it.
6. Best deals found. CL only.
7. Worst condition finds. just for laughs

If you are starting a GT museum, you should have least one representative of the BTT (before triple triangle) era. For their MTB's, I think this may only have lasted one year or so, so they are pretty unusual. Not their best work, but it is part of the story.

whats with the buldge in the top tube? very nice, but probably completely out of reach..

that is just a piece of rubber that I duct-taped to the top tube in case the bars swing around; it prevents dents.

lol I thought it was a huge dent in the frame, what is that like 10 pounds?

About 16lbs when I have the tubulars on it, 18lb or so as pictured.
