which one do i keep?
 

well i have to get rid of one of these:

Raleigh Reliant - very nice shape......paint is almost perfect
Fuji Sports 10 - 510 steel...classic fuji

both are just frames. I have one wheelset. Ive been riding the fuji as a rain bike and it has been great but i cant decide which one to keep. I like them both. Which should i keep? I realize that neither is a high performance bike. Help me decide. I need more room in my garage.

My bikes that are going to be sold off so far are:

Nishiki Colorado frame and wheelset - had planned to turn this into a winter single speed but the frame is much much too big for me.

Schwinn Varsity - all original with manual and rack, all reflectors etc, new tires, new chain, completely overhauled.

C.Itoh - paint isnt perfect but it rides awesome. I hate to see this one go but i just dont ride it enough.

Schwinn Collegiete with Strumey 3 speed coaster brake hub. Very nice 3 speed with full fenders etc.

and then finally my Fuji or My Raleigh :) I cant decide.

Keep the one that fits best.

I'm selling everything I own that doesn't fit.

^ ^ what he said. I've only sold bikes for two reasons: 1) they didn't fit. 2) they rode like crap (ie: cheap aluminum frame).

+2 If it doesn't fit, it goes.

My other rule: if I buy something nicer, in the same type, I let the other one go. Example: I am rebuilding a Fuji Touring Series IV right now. Depending how it turns out, either my Miyata 215ST goes, or the Fuji goes. Note, I have subdivided "type" quite a bit, in the road bike area I have modern and vintage, double and triple, and so on. And of course I have a couple of exceptions.....

well maybe the fuji goes. It is having a headset problem right now. I have play in it and i cant seem to tighten it up. If i go any tighter the steerer becomes stiff to turn but i still have play forward and back where the top race meets the crown.....it is almost like it is missing bearings oor they are the wrong size....

Ill be pulling it apart tonight to investigate.
