Need id on this awesome bridgestone

This is definitely an old bridgestone judging by the headbadge and lugwork. Its beautiful, but i can't find any info on it. Im thinking it was a model right after the Kabuki era, but thats all i can guess on my own. Beautiful headbadge and aluminum sticker. Originally all suntour components, deraillours, shifters, dia-compe brake stuff.

So anybody know about this era of bridgestone, or the anything about the actual model?

thanks
cheers

I don't know anything about it, but all evidence points to it being older than most of the bridgestones I saw in the late '70s

Your pictures aren't much help, looks like the drivetrain was removed in a fixed gear conversion.

It looks like someone at Bridgestone, "back in the day" was a Chelsea FC fan.

yeah when i got the bike, it was still a 10 speed but the original crankset had already been upgraded to SUNTOUR GPX, but the deraillours and shifters were all of older suntour vintage. i converted it to a single for less maintenance and i live in flat san jose anyway.

Beautiful bike and love the color! The various Japanese bike manufacturers and their products are facinating. I bought this Araya that has very similar lugs. Just wonder if there was a single maker of the "Nervex look-alike" lugs, and what the actual name of the company or lugs are.
