Age of New-to-me Univega Gran Record

So, I picked up this sweet Univega Gran Record -- can anybody help with the date of manufacture on it? Serial number OW35286. Here's my dream: it's old enough to ride in the Eroica, if I ever got it together to do that...

Cheers!

Letter 'O' denotes year 1986, if the scheme I'm familiar with applies.

Of course, I asked this question and left for a business trip the next day! Haven't checked e-mails since: sorry for the delay getting back to you on this... My new baby is a bright Univega red, has a Shimano biopace crank, Shimano shifters on the down tube - 10 speeds: I don't know the model of shifters, though. Shimano center-pull brakes, Campagnolo rims, no brazeons, two H20 bottle bosses, no pumppeg, triple-butted Cro-moly tubes. Very light (to me) and super-responsive. Heavy sigh: no pics at the moment while I'm traveling to trade shows... Can't wait to get back and RIDE!

Thanks for the welcome!

VERY cool: that would just squeak in as eligible to ride the Eroica if I ever got it together. Thanks!

Are you sure about the 10 speeds? Could it be 12? This is an interesting set up, because the mid-late 80s Gran Records came with 105 components, which included the Biopace rings, 6sp freewheels, and side pull brakes. The Campy rims are not original (but a nice surprise). It came with Araya rims with 105 hubs. We need pictures

+1 I highly doubt it is ten speed, unless it has been modified, that bike was never a ten speed. Given the year, it is very likely a six speed.
