Does anyone make a real retro style jersey. One with:

Pockets on chest
Wool or blend material

Um, yeah...lots of them. Brooks (Saddle Co) has it's own model with it's logo, people make Campy-branded one's.

Here are a few: https://www.google.com/products?q=mer...ed=0CC8QrQQwAg

Those Trad-Tex jersey's are fantastic! If only I could order from them... or read the order form (what language is that in anyway)!
Anyone else have more retro jersey links?

Vintage Velos (Woolistic). Although not offered all the time (like now), their orange San Pellegrino jersey has pockets in the front. Nice place to hold sunglasses and also nice when cycling into a cold wind.

They call 'em "retro" but whatever, they are merino wool with 5% lycra (like smartwool) for stretchiness.

https://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/,...e-For-Men.html

I love these jerseys, they go on sale constantly and if you sign up for Sierra Trading Post's email list you get extra discounts (hefty ones...30-40% frequently). I've got two now since I like em so much and have paid less than $35 both times I purchased. Sierra also carries that retro wool Campy Jersey and it goes on sale sometimes as well.

Right now I'm looking for some Long wool cycling shorts (not tights) for cool mornings..like Plus Fours or Knickers

These are pretty affordable, though I suspect they're not your size.

Too bad for you, but great for me!

Oh, and RHM, the 29" may just fit me. My blessing and curse is that I've always been very slim. Even at 31 it hasn't changed in years, so, skinny Italian'ware is looking mighty lucrative for me!

For the record, the Italian Army Wool Knickers 29" fits more like a 30", which means they are perfect for me and a downright steal at $18, shipped.

Super high quality and really quite classy. I'm considering getting another pair...

If you can fit into them, buy them!

Try to go all the way retro, no helmet, flowing locks or a nice ugly early 70's helmet.
