Not $1200 like the Bottecchia but $600 for this Tommasini is very, very good money considering the condition. I was going to put a snipe bid in on it but didnt....I'd rather drop $800-1000 on something in better condition.

I saw that, and watched it for a little while. Tommasini or not, it is pretty beat and above all - UGLY. You came to the same conclusion that I did.... if I'm going to spend that kind of money I want something pretty, not something that needs a complete strip and re-paint.

Watched it closely.

I sold a very nice 1988 or so Tommasini Super Prestige frameset two weeks ago for the same price to a buddy.

The one I sold was drop dead gorgeous, and from the price this sold at, clearly undervalued.
