Holdsworth Criterium

Hi everyone

Been looking through the internet in search of some information on a lovely bike I have just aquired for 15 of an old next door neighbour who's dad had just passed away, Im planning on giving it to my cousin as a gift as he once said thats a lovely bike when something similliar passed us by. Came across this website and thought I should give you guys some pictures and see what you think.

Right, I havnt much idea on what it is, all I know is its a Holdsworth Criterium maybe from the 90's ? It has a 501 Frame, Exage bits and Campagnolo parts too, quick release wheels and is in pretty good nick.

So what is it and what is it exactly worth do you think, because I feel 15 was pretty damn cheap!!!!

Must be, but my computer doesn't translate it. Looks like a late '80s Holdsworth, maybe after Falcon acquired the brand and name, and something about the middle of the range given the 3-main-tubes of 501 and the mix of components (very nice Campy to some decent but not so impressive Exage brakes). Certainly worth cleaning and tuning, and will probably be a fine rider.

I'm half tempted to keep it for myself now haha, it's really grown on me, polish it up abit as it seems abit of black over spray on the handel bars ect has managed to get itself on her. perhaps when it was sat in the guys garage, just scratches of with your nail.

Anyone else have any other opinions, would really want to know more ?
