need help identify Campagnolo hubs

Hello,

I wonder if someone more experienced than me could help me identify these Campagnolo hubs. Front and rear are 36h, laced to Campagnolo Sigma 20 tube rims and came of an old Eddy Merckx racer. They doesn't look like C-Reckord to me..

Thanks,
Martin

Hi those are great looking wheels. the hubs are from the short lived Croce d' Anue group. they are very similar to the old Corse Record hubs but minus the big dust caps.

The QR is another clue that they're not C-Record.

The C-Record QR has a different appearance (here they are, but on a Phil Wood hub):

Check the seals on the hubs. I don't know about the Croce hubs, but the C-Record hubs have a glued rubber seal that eventually swells up and the seal cannot be replaced for love or money.

Nice wheels! They are in fantastic condition.

I have two sets of these hubs around here somewhere.

One with Mavic GP4's.

Another with Araya Aero 1's.

They were used by a few of us on our team for a couple of years.

Durable.
