Trexelertown parking lot swap

The weather is looking iffy for Saturday, so while I may have the opportunity to set up shop in some available space, I'm not sure I want to deal with the potential rain.

In any event, even if I decide to show up as a buyer only, I can tote along any of the following stuff if anyone is interested.

My ISO list is fairly short, but I'm open to other trade offers:

set of 9/10 speed Campy wheels in silver, new or excellent condition
Dura Ace 6 speed freewheel, 26T large cog
Dura Ace 7400 seatpost and stem in mint condition
8 speed or later Campy seatpost, silver

Here's my list of available stuff:

62cm Centurion Cinelli Equipe frameset + headset
49cm Nishiki Olympic 12 MIXTE!, frame or complete bike "barn fresh"

700c ISO C dark anodized aero rims laced to cartridge bearing Specialized hubs, FW
budget set of 700c FW Quando/Weinmann wheels
2 Mavic F519 rims, 26", 32H, black
1 Mavic CXP 33 rim, 700c, 32H, silver

Dura Ace 6 speed freewheel, 13-21, EX cond
Dura Ace 7 speed freewheel, 13-19, EX cond
Cinelli 64 bars, nice condition
Cinelli XA, silver, 120, missing spacer
Cinelli 1A, old logo, 90, G cond
Royal Gran Compe brake calipers, black, 39-49mm, VG
Campagnolo Victory FD, EX cond
Suntour Sprint FD, braze-on, GD cond
NOS Shimano FD-1055, 28.6
couple of Sunrace 6 sp FWs
2 new Shimano M505 SPD pedals, black

Good Call. I don't have enough junk to warrant a table this spring (Fall might be a different story) but anything I've got listed below that there's interest in I'll cart along with me to the parking lot.

Have:
27" Wheelset, front and rear w/5speed cassette: Araya Rims, Shimano High Flange hubs that look like copies of the Normandy High Flange hub.
80's Schwinn Ladies World Sport Frame & Fork w/ headset, BB, stem & seatpin
80's Bridgestone Kabuki 24" frame & fork (or complete bike that needs work)
Sugino Maxy crankset 52/46
A ton of various Schwinn Approved Parts (Derailleurs, Brakes, Levers, Shifters, Stems, Wheels)
Normandy F&R high flange hubs
New Black hoods for Cane Creek SCR-5 Brake Levers

Looking for:

68mm Cartridge BB approx 120mm
Touring Frameset 58-60cm
Bar end Friction shifters
Suntour Cyclone or Superbe derailleurs

Speaking of Fall, would anyone be interesting in spliting a table this Fall?

If anyone wants any of the following, I can bring them along this Saturday (or in the May 15th ride) :

- MKS Quill 2K pedals/cages/leather straps
- MKS Platform aero pedals (dinked)
- first generation Look PP 65 pedals with box, hardware and instructions, also a set of Look cleats in original package (all used)
- Sugino mighty BB (and a mighty load of misc Sugino hardware)
- Suntour ARx Derailleur set
- Suntour Sprint RD-5000 (with box)
- Couple of Suntour chains
- Suntour perfect 6sp freewheel
- Suntour new winner Ultra 6 sp 13-28 freewheel (with box)
- Corncob Sachs 7sp freewheel
- a couple of Shimano 6208 freewheels (one with 28 teeth)
- circa 1985 Cateye solar cyclocomputer with instructions
- 1998 KHS Aero Turbo 49cm frameset with FSA headset and square tapered BB for Shimano triple; DB TT, TIG-welded; whole bike with a triple spec'd @ 22lbs for 56cm; 130mm rear spacing. Bright yellow
- Diacombe 500G brakeset with drilled levers and no hoods
- Sugino bottom bracket toolset (2 pieces in original packaging)
- Shimano Deore LX silent drive freehub
- Shimano SLR (non-group) levers, black hoods
- Sante FD, 28.6mm clamp
(and probably some more things I am forgeting like seat posts and stems and Shimano bits)

I will be looking for a few things:

- Campy blue and white plastic toe straps
- Shimano 7sp non-DA index DT shifters
- SuperSLR nutted brakes
- 15mm crank wrench (or 15mm socket integrated with crank tool)
- late 80s/early 90s double- or triple-butted hybrid frameset, TIG-welded or lugged; 52ish cm (could maybe deal with 54 in that application)
- don't need, but always on the lookout for misc Record, Chorus and DA 740x bits

I could definitely use a set of 5 or 6 speed campy record hubs...preferably laced to a clincher rim. I'm going to have a ton of stuff up there...dura ace, campy crecord, chorus, c record, deltas...some bikes...

The main thing I'm hunting for are saddles (Brooks Professional, B17 or something decent), frame pump for 22.5" top tube, tools, perhaps a flip/flop hub/wheel (I have a perfect frame for a s/s) and maybe something interesting that catches my eye. I'm not in a position to buy anymore bikes right now, my wife has reached her limit....

dont forget to bring a tape measure with you!

I brought one last year and was the life of the party....comes in handy all day.

EjustE, can you bring those MKS Quill 2K pedals/cages/leather straps please? I might be interested in sharing a table in the fall..

Thanks for the reminder about the tape measure. If the weather is sketchy I might drive there. Do they charge to park?

Not unless they start this year! I've got a '77 black Brooks Pro. Looks pretty good aside from a scuff on the rear. Not sure if I'd make it a daily rider, though, as there are surface cracks on the underbelly.

Seeing as I'm in Texas I won't be attending.
However if anyone sees a Deda Murex stem, 110 length I'm really interested,
as well as matching 215 bars (in the shallow non ergonomic bend).
Also looking for campy 10 speed cassette.

have on and off topic stuff to offer for trade

I'll keep an eye. What size bars are you looking for? And what range of cassette?

I'll be wearing the same T shirt and carrying a red backpack and will have my 2 boys along trying to coral them, I suspect. Got a beard, look like a long retired linebacker and will be wearing a Minnesota Twins TC ball cap (I suspect that there will not be too many of those there). And both you and junkyardbike got my mobile phone #. I will probably arrive around 11ish

It was a fun morning but a bit damp. I picked up a Brooks Pro (thanks Patrick) and some misc trade fodder (Campy DT shifters, suntour superbe pro r/d and shimano 8spd bar end shifters). It was very nice to meet Aaron and Patrick.

it was a good time. Less buyers and vendors than last fall...perhaps the threat of weather was keeping folks away. It was nice to meet Aaron, E, evxx (sorry didn't catch your name dude), johnnyb, JunkYard and whoever else I forgot (i know i'm forgetting you...dude in the light blue shirt , sorry.)

I picked up some good sutff. A Sugino RT Triple crankset and some barcons from JunkYard, found a matching BB spindle for the crankset at a random vendor 2 packs of cork tape for 10 bux, Some great MKS pedals from E, a Suntour V-GT Luxe RD, a set of Suntour Cyclone Shifters

and the big purchase was a modern Fuji Touring frame (no fork, just the frame) for 75 bux as the show was closing.

I'm still kicking myself for not buying JohnnyB's beautiful Miyata 1000. I couldn't beleive how many others were looking at it as well and not buying it. It was a beautiful bike, probably an 86 or 87, full outfitted with rear rack, front lowrider rack and radial tires. Everyting was original down to the foam grips. Very Very cool and totally my size and I am truly a fool for passing on it.

That was fun! see most of you folks next weekend!

I wore my Reynlods 531 shirt and EVERYONE was asking about it.

That was me (blue Nitto shirt) I was the picture of restraint. I only sold and did not BUY anything! I can't believe it myself! It was nice to meet a number of C&V folks and at the end of the swap I made a large donation of parts to the Philadelphia Bike works. A Win/Win all around!

yes that was you! Sorry fender, I forget easily amongst all the hustle.

Honestly your table was one of the best for Good C&V stuff at reasonable prices.

I nearly went for that weird Campy RD you had as well...it was just so strange. But I don't own a single campy bit, so I figured it was best to leave that can of worms unopened for now
