OMG, this deserved it's own thread....
In the same CL sellers photo album as something I looked at:
http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/6...msonjewish.jpg WTF with that fork?! How would that ride? :twitchy::eek: |

10 for creativity.

That's an imaginative if not especially successful effort to conceal the fact that a fork has been badly bent in a front-end collision--rotate it 180 degrees and hope no one notices.
This is also the first time I've ever seen a bike described as "Jewish." |
If you look behind the crankarm you'll see it is circumcised.

Is there a device on it which prevents its operation on the Sabbath?
|
I didn't check your CL. Might he have a Delilah to go with it?
|
For a jewish bike I think you could get a better price somewhere.
|
If you do buy it, good luck finding the special reverse-mounting hardware for the mud guards.
|
Backward bent fork!......like the owner thought we would not notice those leading front dropout eyelets??....FAIL!
Maybe he thought the dazzle camo paintjob on the fork would hide it! Still interesting Israeli (as the owner calls it, "Jewish?") bike to have though! I wonder what tubing was used.... Chombi |
something does not look kosher here OY!

People, enough with the Jewish stereotyping.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereotypes_of_Jews '[PDXaero] Jews are still stereotyped as greedy, nit-picky, stingy misers.... Common objects, phrases and traditions used to emphasize or ridicule Jewishness include bagels, playing violin, klezmer, circumcision, haggling and phrases like "Mazal Tov", "Shalom" and "Oy Vey".' (my emphases) No offense meant to anyone who posted here, by the way; this is an atypical post for me; and I don't consider myself PC (in fact, I thought the jokes were pretty funny until the one about "get[ting] a better price somewhere"), but this is a dangerous road to go down. I'm fairly certain I'll get attacked for being overly sensitive - I may even get a couple "this is the Internet/free speech/I say what I want" diatribes - but I'm also fairly sure I'm right on this one. Apologies in advance for killing the fun. |

It's obviously a stayer...

I only mentioned the fork...
I just noticed that this photograph was taken at the East River State Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, a neighborhood which is home to the greatest number of Hasidic Jews outside of Israel. Coincidence? Maybe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William...c_Williamsburg |

I think we can both agree that this bike is hilarious. Not just the fork, at that.

I think not wanting to ride it constitutes Antisemitism
|
I think that the seller is a Cincinnati Bengals' fan with all those stickers
|
It takes a lot of chutzpah to run such a schpiel about a bike that is obviously dreck. Seller is a gonif, looking for some schnook to come along. It's a shonda.
|
LOL!
That'll probably get the whole stereotyping thing going again but my old Jewish relatives really do talk like that! Inevitably what follows: me: "say what Grandma?" Grandma Yetta: "don't worry about it dear, I'll make you some latkes!" :) |
