Passing on a Paramount track bike question.

Craigslist add asking about a 40's era Paramount track bike. Perhaps one of you all could help him. I know nothing!!!!

Reeks of trollage. I've had people on my local CL do similar nonsense...

If I knew that much about old Paramounts, I'd contact him and ask for photo proof. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

I already contacted him and mentioned our evaluation forum. Also corrected his claim the bike was raced at Penrose during WW2. Penrose was built in early 60s, but bike could have been raced at the Forest Park Velodrome that was in existence at that time. He told me I was right, he was "helping a friend" and the info was second hand. Also said the wood rims had been thrown away. Asked him if I could see bike and photograph it. No response yet.
