Well, it seems to go well with your cat!
Send it to me and I'll do a side by side comparo with my Vitus Plus Carbone 7 (which I think must kinda owes it's existience to your pioneering bike) as they almost look like kissin cousins....

Interesting piece of early carbon bicycle history, they had breakage issues back in their hay day.. how long did they even sell those for? Not sure I'd trust riding that thing hard 30+ years later.

You want that cat? He's crazy
My dad received two frames back in the 70 when he worked at one of the trade shows in new york city. I ended up selling the large graftek frame about 8 yrs ago. It was in mint condition since it sat in the basement for over 30 years and never assembled. This one has been ridden quite a bit. I raced with it in the 70's when I was little over on Long Island at Westbury College. We had good races back then even 3 times a week.

I bought one in mint condition this past winter. I get the impression they were sold as framesets only. The one I bought has a full Nuovo record group taken from a Colnago the seller said. I have read much about the breakage issues, but not too concerned, will never be my primary bike and when I do ride it I don't really ride it "hard". Definitely a cool piece of history. I am still going to dress it up with some new bartape, cable housings, tires, and remove the yellow paint from the cranks. Here is a pic, for more check out my photobucket

Those are some nice pictures of your bike. The frame I sold was about the same size but I never found out what the buyer did with it. The stuff back then was nice and simple. I even have two ALAN frames (Alum) that i currently ride, you should see these pieces of junk
