West German Road Bike?

Hello all, been lurking here a bit and gleaning some knowledge as I go. Complete newb to the cycling world so bear with me :) As a further caveat, please let me know if I posted this in the wrong forum. I understand the importance of following etiquette, especially as I just entered your home.

Ran across an older road bike for sale that was manufactured in West Germany called a Mundo. I did some research both here and online and have found absolutely NADA on a Mundo from West Germany. Apparently, there is a Mundo cargo bike, and maybe some Mundos from Japan and/or Brazil, but nary a mention of a West German manufacturer.

Does anyone have any insights on this bike. The most info I can gather is the origination country, the color is red and the badge on the front says "Mundo Cycles, Manufactured in West Germany." Thanks all

pics would help a lot...

also info and pics of the components like the Hubs and any derailleurs would be of help as well

Here is the CL ad. That's all I have for pics. Really just wanting to grab an old road bike with a bit of character to putt around with. I have no bike knowledge but the components look less than nice.

well go see if it fits...thats about at the top of the list.

If I had to guess I'd say expect a Hi-Ten steel frame, steel wheels...i could be wrong.

For simply putting around It would probably be decent...i'd definitely come in with an offer well below 75 though

no prob. If its not for you don't get it... there will be others.

Don't go to it expecting much. It looks to be pretty much your extremely basic commuter bike - not worth a lot, and probably not well suited to upgrade or clean up a bunch.
