West German Road Bike?
Hello all, been lurking here a bit and gleaning some knowledge as I go. Complete newb to the cycling world so bear with me :) As a further caveat, please let me know if I posted this in the wrong forum. I understand the importance of following etiquette, especially as I just entered your home.
Ran across an older road bike for sale that was manufactured in West Germany called a Mundo. I did some research both here and online and have found absolutely NADA on a Mundo from West Germany. Apparently, there is a Mundo cargo bike, and maybe some Mundos from Japan and/or Brazil, but nary a mention of a West German manufacturer. Does anyone have any insights on this bike. The most info I can gather is the origination country, the color is red and the badge on the front says "Mundo Cycles, Manufactured in West Germany." Thanks all |
pics would help a lot...
also info and pics of the components like the Hubs and any derailleurs would be of help as well |

well go see if it fits...thats about at the top of the list.
If I had to guess I'd say expect a Hi-Ten steel frame, steel wheels...i could be wrong. For simply putting around It would probably be decent...i'd definitely come in with an offer well below 75 though |

no prob. If its not for you don't get it... there will be others.

Don't go to it expecting much. It looks to be pretty much your extremely basic commuter bike - not worth a lot, and probably not well suited to upgrade or clean up a bunch.
