I would buy this from you. They are not especially light, considering....They are usually about 18-19lbs built up as a road/tt bike.

trimenc,
Any chance your source can provide a manual for a Softride SRS 530? We just bought a 2002 tandem that has a Softride SRS 530 suspension beam which was disassembled for shipping. I want to make sure I put it back together correctly, torque settings, etc. Good stokers are hard to findhttps://www.bikeforums.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Also, I

would like to see if there are any adjustments that can be made. Thanks.

I would give you much more.

I will reach out to Peter on Facebook and ask him. You can always find tons of help in the Softride owners group on FB.

Norwester Maximum Tire size?

How wide a tire could I fit on a Softride Norwester? The stock width is 500cx32mm. I have the bike on order from eBay so I don't have anyway to measure it at the moment. I wanted to start this as a new thread but this forum is exasperating to find such a simple tool as "Start New Thread".

Well, since this was brought back from the dead let me update with how my Softride is now setup. I picked up the HED Wheeslset this past summer. This is the only bike I did not get a ride on though as I recovered from the knee replacement. With the other one still jacked up bad I didn't want to stress it even for a few minutes as I adjusted again to riding this without bouncing. And I need to figure out how to pump the tires since the head on my floor pump doesn't fit, LOL!

Well, the forum doesn't let you post photos until you post 10 responses, so maybe they also don't let you start a thread.
Then when you do post on threads you're interested in, the old timers scold you for reviving an old thread
I look forward to revived old threads myself.
Life is hard, and then you die.

500c tires are unlikely. My NWer has 700c's
650c was also popular on Softrides.

If the bike is coming with 32's on it, I'd wait and ride it with the 32's - I think that's a lot more tire than they came with originally.
