Franken Raleigh sports?

The frame looks like a early 70's late 60's but theres alot of newer stuff on it, the headset bearings aint caged. it's got frame pump mounts and some other things, the rear brake is also fishy. maybe the person had two and made one?

rear hub says 78

The style of crank chainring is consistent with late 70s.

I just got owned! that red one takes the win, but I wouldn't mind owning it, a Red Sports is on my wanted list and it has dyno hub. but that price is a no no,

As for the crank, it was removed before because the pins where the wrong kind for it and where really reamed in there and to short

The decals in that original post look mid to late 1970s era. I have a '74 Sports with those style decals, and a '78 DL-1.

Nothing unusual about that Sports, HSean. It's a stock '78 in every respect, including the two-tone paint job.

Maybe it was just poorly assembled at the time
