Style
My son was visiting Saturday & I went for a ride with my Grand daughter. I took my Grand Jubile & she rode a Bridgstone Mixte I keep around. As we rode, she announced "Grampa, these bikes are fast but my girlfriend told me they're not in style any more". (I have to admit her friend was correct) Seems at age 13, style trumps speed.
I may have to introduce her to cycle clothing to stimulate her flagging enthusiasm. Anyone have other suggestions? Don

Tell her the true essence of style is not having any and then, and only then, you will have plenty. If she cannot entagle this zen conumdrum, make her wash the dishes until she is enlightened. .
