Any ideas what kind of Bianchi it is?

Recently i have bought an old Bianchi with custom and not original parts. It has number 09102f5 stamped on the down side of the bottom bracket on the frame and here are some photos:

nice looking Bianchi since the components are not original there is no way to tell the model. that frame witht he Bianchi Special tubing is from '85 and was used on several different models. the next year they started the Formula tubed frames

Does the models of Bianchi differ only or mostly from components used on them? You say that frame is from 1985? It is my year of birth then :D my bike is of my age.. that is so nice :)

These are my favorite Bianchis. Celeste, and well-ridden (dirty).

like most manufactures Bianchi often used (and likely still does) the same frame across a few different models. it is one of the ways they cut cost. Cannondale at one time only made one road frame, touring, and MTB just put different grades of components on them
