Identifying Hubs

hey dear bike fans,
I need your help to identify my hubs. Unfortunately, they have no decals and no engravings on them. I think the only starting point could be quick release, front: Ofmega, rear: Shimano. I was told that my hubs are not Shimano, but both of them could be Ofmega. I checked velobase.com and found that they may be Ofmega Master (but my helpers said that they can't be Ofmega Master hubs because they are more shiny than my hubs), but it is just a guess.
What do you think?
Thank you for your help in advance!

Do you have some reason to think that they are something special?

For example, are they on an older bike to which you believe them to be original?

What kind of rims are they laced to?

They look like the generic late 90's lowish-end hubs that appear by the manys at the bike coop where I volunteer. Not that they might not be perfectly good -- or that they might not be something interesting or nice. That I don't know.

I don't think they are special. They just resemble Ofmega Master so I thought they might be.
The hubs belong to Ambrosio Montreal Medaille d'Or rims and the bike is a F.Moser 51.151 (Oria TT0.9).

Just because they are not as "shiny" as Ofmega Master hubs pictured on VeloBase does not mean they are not. The photos on VeloBase appear to be NOS. I would guess that yours may have seen a few miles. Would not surprise me if they could be cleaned up and look just as shiny as those illustrated. It is also possible there were variations in finish of the the hubs. Are there any markings on the axle nuts?

they definitely have the correct skewer handles for Ofmegas...and the Masters had just a silk-screen printed logo, so easy to lose that over time...that's what I think they are.

you could tell from the skewers? I think it was funny he posted all those pics and the outside of the QR lever was not in any of them. nor does he mention the brand of the skewers.

now I did see a blue dot on the front hub could it be a "Cobalto" hub?

AFAIK, there never was a "Cobalto" hub; just brakes.

there's enough shown in pic #4 to tell the tale...Ofmegas from this period have a very distinctive skinny lever with Campy-like bumps on the edge.

I can't see any markings, but I'm going to take them apart so maybe I will find something.

the OR on the right is def an Ofmega, the one marked Shimano is def not.
I just checked the one Ofmega Master hub I own and it looks very similar, BUT mine has a spring-steel oil hole clip (why? who knows) so these might be some other model but still Ofmega.
(My NOS front 36º Master hub is available, in case anybody wants one)
