OLD bike Hackett Daimond??
I found a pretty complete bike on our farm. Completely rusted solid but surprisingly complete. I honestly think if i soaked in in oil for a while I might be able to disassemble it but for now I have dragged it into a building for safe keeping.
I will post pics shortly, but I can not find any refference to the brand. The badge and paint still visable says Hackett Diamond St Paul MINN.
Any body heard of this make? It is kind of pretty with a double top tube but is going to take a full resto and a lot of $ to do it and for now it is located in the middle of Iowa with no real way to get it home.
Again, will post pics next week when home, just looking for any info.

I was just there today with my son. Lots of bikes, including an old Moulton.
Sorry, didnt mean to hijack the thread. Just funny to see a mention of the "Pickers" the day we visited.
