Trek 660 -- Fashion Opinion Needed
Tonight I will be finishing up my 1989 white/red Trek 660 singlespeed project. It came together beautifully.
But, let me get your opinion:
Handlebar tape -- white or red?
Seat -- White Turbo, Black Turbo, Black Brooks B-17?
Thanks

Got pics of the bike? Its harder to say without seeing it.
Personally I like a lot of white on a bike...I think it looks really clean and sharp. White Saddle & White brake cable Housing are always a good combo IMO...I like White Bar wrap a lot but it definitely gets dirtied up pretty easy.

White padded bar tape was the norm when that bike was issued. I always thought the white tape made many 80's bikes look very classy. White saddles also paired up nicely with the white padded tape, get a perforated leather one and the class factor goes up big time. You can also go with Cinelli cork or real leather in white if you prefer something less plastic looking.
