Italvega.........
It's a 71 gran turismo (dated by rims). Is it italian threaded? Reason I ask is that it has a nervar (french) cottered crank; so don't know what to make of the bb specs. Cinelli stem with the pesky 7mm bolt. Has mavic tubulars on normandy hubs-sounds frencher by the minute. I've only read that the brand started out in italy and moved to japan-stop in france along the way? Dr's are low end campy. So to reiterate: Is it french or italian threaded doen there in the bb?:roflmao:

hahahahaha-more complications. French-italian-swiss? Each cup has a '36' stamped on the outside-no other markings. Perhaps I can use the cups with a square taper spindle? (old 10 speed-double ringed-52/40)

Absolutely Italian threaded from the factory. French components are normal for that model, but the tolerances are all to Italian specs. 36 is the size for Italian b.b. threads as well.
