Ticino Cyclo-Tourist hubs?

Does anyone have any experience with Electra's Ticino Cyclo-Tourist hubs which copy Campy high flange Sheriff Star hubs in a modern configuration? They sure are pretty!

Are there any other modern hubs which reproduce a similar classic look?

I think their hubset is $300 and their wheelset is $450.

Bicycle Quarterly published a review of the hubs recently. Executive summary: they look nice, but not as nice as the Campys, and don't appear to be as well made. Longevity vis-a-vis flange failure is still unknown.
